その名も
スパイキーヘアスライム SPIKY HAIR SLIME
スライムといえば子供の頃にゴミ箱の形をした容器に入ったスライムで遊んだのを思い出します。もちもちとした柔らかい質感で少し粘着質もあり、遊んでいるうちに床に落としたりほこりが付着したりで段々と汚れて最後は見栄えが別物になっていったものでした(笑)
スパイキーヘアスライムという名前の通りスライム状のスタイリング剤なのですが、使用感や仕上がり等に興味深く、早速サンプルを使用しました。
もちもちとしたスライムの質感を利用して開発されたこちらの新製品、手に取るとまさにスライムそのもので、指で素早くつかみ取るとバサっと塊を手に取ることができて、
ゆっくりつかみ取るととろ〜んと粘度のある状態で手に取ることができます。
スタイリング剤としては目新しい剤型です。
手に取った本品を手によく馴染ませるとハードジェルの状態になります。ドライ状態の髪に塗布したら素早く早く乾燥します。なのでここからが使い方のポイントですが、部分的にボリュームを抑えたり毛先に束感を出したりしたい場合は毛髪をドライ状態で、全体的に塗布する場合や少しスタイルを整えたい場合は毛髪を少しウエットの状態で使用することでお望みのスタイリングができます。
仕上がり後はパリっとしたイイ質感に！
チキソトロピーという性質をを持つことによりスライム状の剤型になるそうです。
この商品に触れて初めて知ったこの “チキソトロピー” という単語、ググってみるとたくさんの情報が出てきました。専門的で難しいことがたくさん書いてありますが、要約すると力を加えることで剤の構造が破壊され、それが時間の経過とともにその構造が回復するということをだそうです。
スパイキーヘアスライムで置き換えると,容器に入った本品を手で取り出すと取り出された箇所はへ凹んだり凸凹になりますが(力を加えることで構造が破壊されて粘度が下がる)、↓
時間の経過とともにその箇所は平面(構造が回復されて粘度が上がる)になります。↓

SPIKY HAIR SLIME
Speaking of slime, I remember when I was a child playing with slime that came in a container shaped like a trash can. It had a soft and sticky texture, and as I played with it, I would drop it on the floor or get dust on it, and it would get dirtier and dirtier until it looked like something else (laughs).
As the name suggests, Spiky Hair Slime is a slime styling product, and I was intrigued by the feel, finish, etc., and immediately used a sample.
This new product, developed using the texture of sticky slime, is just like slime when you hold it in your hand, and when you quickly grab it with your fingers, you can pick up a lump in a jiffy,
If you grab it slowly, you can take it in your hand in a thick and viscous state.
It is a new formulation for styling agents.
When this product is well absorbed into the hand, it becomes a hard gel. When applied to dry hair, it dries quickly and fast. If you want to reduce volume in some parts or create bundles at the ends of your hair, use it on dry hair. If you want to apply it to the entire hair or style it a little, use it on slightly wet hair to achieve the desired styling.
The finished product has a nice, crispy texture!
It is said to have the property of thixotropy, which makes it a slime-like dosage form.
I first came across the word “thixotropy” when I was exposed to this product, and a quick Google search turned up a lot of information about it. There are a lot of technical and difficult things written about it, but in summary, it means that the structure of the agent is destroyed by applying force, and that this structure is recovered over time.
If we replace it with Spiky Hair Slime, when this product is removed from the container by hand, the removed part becomes concave or convex (the structure is broken down by applying force and the viscosity is reduced).
Over time, the area becomes flat (structure is restored and viscosity increases). ↓
