〜The first model of WUAO Rose Dress Hair Freshener was launched in June 2009 with this catchy catchphrase: “Cut the smell of hair and decorate it with the scent of roses.” The launch came at a time when cosmetics containing roses a bit of a boom.
Mere rosewater is not interesting. It needs to be arranged in a way that is unique to WUAO. While our staff was developing the product with this in mind, we received information from the field that there are a certain number of young people who do not shampoo every day. This was the initial trigger.
We noticed that there are people don’t shampoo every day, but concern about the smell of scalp and hair, and people are busy in the morning. We started to put all these things together and came up with
“Remove” ⇒ to remove bad smell on hair.
“Suppress” ⇒ to suppress bad smell on scalp.
“Decorate” ⇒ with the scent of rose.
Rose Dress was created by integrating these three functions.
“The fragrance of roses is very good,” “It is the best for fixing disarranged hair,” “It is the best for blow lotion and cutting lotion,” etc. Also, in salon work, it has received many evaluations. After 12 years from its launch, the time has passed into the era of REIWA (Japanese name of the era at the moment).
