過去に当社でもウアオブランドから夏季限定で冷感機能を兼ね備えた炭酸シャンプーを販売したこともあります。
そんな経緯を経て定着した理美容業界における炭酸メニューや炭酸商品ですが、とある業界新聞で目にした情報、2021年は日本国内では炭酸シャンプーの出荷量が過去最高となったそうです。これは恐らく一般市場が出荷数を牽引したと思います。

“Carbonic Acid Shampoo” and “Carbonic Acid Spa” have become well established in the beauty and hair salon industry. I’m sure you’ve all experienced it at least once at a salon.
We started selling carbonated products 11 years ago, which create a carbonated spa simply by placing a tablet in a sink filled with hot water, were highly regarded as an easy-to-adopt product for commercial menus. Since then, carbonation-related products have been released by manufacturers one after another, and among them, carbonated shampoos seem to stand out the most.
This is probably because the functions of carbonic acid match the purpose of shampoo, making it a very suitable shampoo ingredient.
In the past, our company has also sold a carbonated shampoo that combines a cooling function in the summer from the Wuao brand.
Carbonated menus and carbonated products in the hairdressing and beauty industry have become established through this process, and I read in an industry newspaper that in 2021, shipments of carbonated shampoo in Japan reached a record high. This was probably driven by the general market.
